The eight hour block, and what daylight does to it

The word says night and the booking does not insist on it. What is actually sold is a block of eight hours at one figure, EUR 1,250 for a single guest with one therapist, and where those eight hours sit on the clock is a matter for the thread. A block that opens at two in the afternoon ends around ten at night. A block that opens at four runs to midnight. Neither costs anything different from one that starts at eleven in the evening.

Eight hours is not eight hours of massage

This is the misunderstanding worth clearing up before anybody books one. A block is a long stretch of time in company, and nobody is on a table for the whole of it. There are breaks, there is conversation, people sleep, food arrives at some point. The figure buys the block rather than a quantity of anything, and what any part of it includes is hers to decide.

The other figures

A couple with one therapist across the block is EUR 2,500. One guest with two therapists is EUR 2,880. A couple with two therapists is EUR 5,760. Half of whichever line applies travels before she leaves, on every block, whatever hour it opens at and however long the booking has been arranged. A daytime block is no exception.

Where a daylight block makes sense

Chiefly on a trip where the evening is already claimed, and the long free stretch sits in the middle of the day instead. It also suits an early flight the following morning, because the block finishes before the small hours rather than running into them.
